Description
Type SE-Style U (Service Entrance Cable - Style U) is primarily used for above-ground electrical service use from the electric utility power service point to the meter or service entrance panel. As permitted under special conditions, SE-Style U can be used for interior wiring as branch circuits to ranges, ovens, cooking units, or clothes dryers. SE-Style U is manufactured in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories UL-854 and installed in accordance with Article 338 of the NEC.
