Recently, we earned NEMA's Make It AmericanTM certification for our McKinney, Texas facility, and Build America, Buy America (BABA) product-level certification for copper THHN and XHHW-2 wire.
Prysmian | Encore Wire underwent an expert-led audit to assess our conformance with the supply chain evaluation process standard and verify the application of product-specific criteria.
The Make It American™ certification highlights our commitment to domestic manufacturing standards at the facility level, while the Build America, Buy America (BABA) product certification confirms wire products meet federal requirements for domestic content.

In McKinney, we recently broke ground on a state-of-the-art medium voltage cable production facility totaling more than 650,000 square feet. Expected to be online in 2027, the plant will significantly increase medium-voltage capacity and add 120 new jobs to our McKinney campus.
