Description

Prysmian's FREP® cables are designed for harsh industrial environments, suitable for installation in free air, cable tray, raceways, or direct burial as allowed by the NEC. FREP® is permitted for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations and meets UL 44 Type XHHW-2 and UL 1277 Type TC-ER for exposed run applications of 3 or more conductors. The cables are manufactured with stranded tinned copper conductors, FR-EPR insulation, and a robust CPE jacket for exceptional durability and fire resistance. Shielded versions provide additional protection against EMI for sensitive instrumentation.
